Where’s Daddy? Child Support, Injustice and the African American Man


This weekend, I had the privilege of attending the New York preview of the documentary film: “Where’s Daddy?’ at Mist in Harlem by veteran Filmmaker/Director/Producer,  Rel Dowdell. At first, I thought this was going to be another one of those angry dads with a camera and an axe to grind against his “ex” films. Fortunately, that was not the case.  “Where’s Daddy?” deals with the many challenges single African American men face and the injustices they suffer when attempting to navigate the child support system in America.
