Welcome to my new blog: Real Dads Stand Up! My goal is to offer tools, tips, and techniques to help single parents navigate the child support and custody system and stay connected to their children despite the failed relationship with the other parent.
Although the focus is on dads, we welcome everyone here. When we focus on dads in our community, we help empower women and children. However, this is NOT a men’s rights site. If you are looking for men versus women, or, vice versa, then this is not the place for you. I spent many years, representing dads and moms in court. I learned early on that it’s not about “he versus she.” When two parents fight over their children in court, there are no winners.
I will also share news and interviews. While I welcome your comments, please note that my comments are not meant to be specific legal advice. I may choose to answer general questions or respond to comments. However, no lawyer-client relationship is established by reading or commenting on this site. If you have a case pending in court, please consult a licensed attorney in your state. Although you may find the information very helpful, the comments on this site are not meant to be legal or psychological advice.
